After working several part time jobs whilst studying at university (mostly in hospitality), I had my first summer job in TV as a runner on the gameshow Sorry I didn't know. Following that, I landed a role at South Shore on the Pact Indie Scheme.

It's the best way to equip yourself for a career in television, not only does it provide great networking opportunities, you learn invaluable skills through the ScreenSkills sessions which occur each month. What do you love best about your job?

I love brainstorming sessions. Collaborating with like-minded creative people to conceptualise and draw up ideas is extremely enjoyable, it pushes you to try and think of things in so many unique ways as a lot of formats/ideas have already been developed on TV.

What is your big ambition?

To arrive at a point in the TV/Film industry where I'm able to guide and help a huge number of people who are struggling to find a way to break in. I couldn't believe I landed a role on the Scheme so soon after university, it's been monumental in developing my skill-set and networking opportunities.

One day I'd love to be able to be the guidance for the future generation of workers, helping them create content for millions of people.
