Everyone has been a joy to work with and meeting so many interesting and engaging people and getting to collaborate on various productions has been fun.

Tells us a bit about your career route to your current role

Before I got my place on the Pact Scheme working at Fremantle, I was working freelance writing and directing short films. I've been fortunate enough to work on Britain's Got Talent, recently Qi and working in Scripted Development reading pilot scripts and writing feedback reports.

What two key things did the Pact Indie Diversity Training Scheme give you?

I would say the two main things I got from working at Fremantle would be firstly the contacts; I've been able to network and build a rapport with many people working across different departments in various roles. Also skills such as speaking and presenting in pitch and development ideas sessions, and a greater sense of how to manage my time.

What would you say to people who are considering joining the scheme?

I would definitely recommend applying (to the scheme) as you are given a great insight into the TV industry working in various departments and in my case, at Fremantle, working across various labels. You get a breadth of experience and knowledge and it is a great way to get your intro into the industry.

My ambition is to work in Scripted Development in the TV industry and to write more.

What do you love best about your job in TV?

The thing I love most about my job are the people at Fremantle. Everyone has been a joy to work with and meeting so many interesting and engaging people and getting to collaborate on various productions has been fun.

What was your most memorable or favourite part of the Scheme?

Working with the Development Team at ThamesTV on the production shoots for a new Quiz show pilot. It was my first time working on set in a huge studio. The set that was built looked amazing and was fun to interact with. Lastly the team I was working with were a great group of people.

What is your big ambition?

My ambition is to work in Scripted Development in the TV industry and to write more so that eventually I could have the possibility of getting my scripts commissioned and produced by a Production company.
